We are Tracey & Darren Ruch and we have both been involved with dogs for many years. I started at the age of 16 when I purchased my first dog a German Shepherd dog, which started my involvment in showing and obedience. Once I had the show bug, I decided to get involved with breeding. After a marriage break up I stopped breeding and just had the 1 German Shepherd (Demi). With Demi I got very involved with obedience and trialed Demi to get her CD and CDX title, then I started instructing obedience which is were I met Darren.

 Darren had a German Shepherd at the time which he worked with, as a security team but had Bull Terriers as well since he was 17, after we were married Darren had always spoken of having another bully and I had been very impressed by a Bull Terrier Miniature that I had met at obedience. I then decided to surprise Darren with a Mini for our first anniversary. After many phone calls to Joy Schaffer (Schardale Kennels) and keeping it a secret from Darren, I picked a little white mini male Schardale Master Luke (Jake) up from the airport and when arriving home asked Darren to help unload the shopping and to Darrens surprise there was a very excitable puppy just waiting to be let out of his airport crate.

 That was the start of our kennels, a very big thankyou to Joy at Schardale Kennels who looked after us very well by allowing us to have 2 lovely girls, first Schardale Magic Snoflake (Yendsy) and then Schardale My Precious (Precious) which has given us a very strong foundation to our kennels.

 Yendsy and Precious  both obtained their Aust Champion titles with ease and have both produce Aust Champions and ROM animals.
